AOL are certainly an interesting company and have a very lengthy history in the ISP market which really shows their experience. Overall their reputation seems to vary, some people are happy with their service where others are exceptionally disappointed. I found AOL to be very good. The service was consistent and I never dropped connection.
Customer service was the major let down and ultimately one of the main reasons for choosing to leave AOL. Whenever I had to ring the call centres all I got was lies from there or a load of nonsense. They could definitely do with better customer service management. However I still had a very good experience with AOL.
